With degrees in business administration, the two quickly decided to set up their own shop in San Juan called Mr. Kukis, where they sell homemade cookies, coffee and ice cream. With no outside funding, Mr. Kukis has already grown to reach 30,000 customers, and the duo are set to open a new location in Bayamón in the fall. Díaz said the company earned $300,000 in revenue in 2022 and he projects $775,000 for 2023.
